ZDG-40-WB1 is NRT high speed Weigh-In-Motion system. The system &HSWIM( consists of bar sensors and data-logger, which are used to detect the axle load and total weight of the vehicle. The system can automatically detect, weigh and output the results in free flow without manual intervention. It is mainly used in highway overload pre-selection, direct enforcement detection, traffic flow survey and other systems to detect the wheel weight, axle weight and total weight of passing vehicles and provide scientific weight information for the back-office system.

The minimum HSWIM system consists of the bar sensors and detection loops, which are berried in the road and the datalogger which is installed in the cabinet on the roadside. Other options configurations including the ANPR, LED light, VPS, CCTV, VMS and other accessories like the signs.

Vehicle basic information
When the vehicle passes through the weighing area, the system can accurately and effectively separate the vehicles and output complete vehicle information, including: axle weight, axle group weight, vehicle weight, number of axles, axle type, vehicle type, wheelbase, speed, date and time.

Bar Sensors Layout

Data Logger and Data Collection Unit

The data-logger and Data collection Unit are both installed in a field cabinet near the bar sensor. All the bar sensors’ signal inputs and loop signals connect with the Data collection Unit, which is connected with the data logger. All the signal processing and calculation are conducted in the data logger in order to calculate the vehicle weight. Data Logger can also run the high-speed software in order to match the capturing pictures, point cloud pictures and vehicle dimension data.
